Everything Everywhere

What appears to be a little known fact outside of the mobile phone industry is as of 1st July 2010, Orange and T-Mobile have merged under the company title of Everything Everywhere.

Initially, there shouldn’t be any immediate difference to phone provision or service while the two companies still continue to compete in the mobile market. Both Orange and T-Mobile shops will remain in the high street retailing their own specific brands.

In the longer term there are reports of improved network coverage and undoubtedly there will be some need for rationalisation of the two companies albeit behind the scenes in areas such as billing and customer service.

For today though, this may be news to you, even if you are a customer of either operator.
