Having stupidly dumped a cat in a wheelie bin last week, Mary Bale has issued a formal apology explaining the incident as “a split second of misjudgement”.

What is of more concern is the outrageous, unnecessary and wholly excessive behaviour of the crowd of people who gathered outside her house and those that set-up and contributed to a Facebook group calling for her death.
